A selection of mini sized fibres. BATT AND BRAID box #6

This box is packed full of fluff for you to spin or felt.

There are 6 x 25g scrappy mini batts, and 6 x 25g hand-dyed mini braids (100% Punta Arenas)

The batts have been made with a mix of hand dyed Merino wool, hand dyed Bluefaced Leicester, commercially dyed Merino wool, and may also contain silk fibres, and other 'add-in' fibres.

Batts have been carded by me, and the braids have been dyed by me.

300g of fibre in total (10.5oz)

Fibres are unlabelled.

Each little mini batt has been made with commercially dyed non-mulesed 21 micron Merino wool and might have been mixed in with various colourful add-ins like silk noil, silk filament waste, recycled sari silk fibre, and yarn scraps. They may have been blended with Mulberry silk top, Tussah silk top, bamboo fibre, pearl fibre, bio-nylon, and milk protein fibre. Some batts may also include wool from other sheep breeds.

I've not added sparkles to the batts but there may be sparkles from the scrap fibres.

I've used my phone to photograph and I've done my very best to make sure the colours are accurate but please keep in mind that colours can vary on different screens.

Take care with your finished projects and avoid using hot water as your items can felt and in some cases, the dye can bleed. Make sure to soak your items separately.
