Description

You will receive the twelve batts pictured.

Each batt weighs 25g (0.88oz) and has been carded by me on my manual drum carder.

Scrappy batts are made with a mixture of commercially dyed and hand-dyed 21-micron Merino and a mixture of silks and textured scrappy fibres.

Some of the batts may contain sparkly fibres.

The batts are packaged in a glassine paper bag (I no longer use cardboard as it adds too much weight) which is fully recyclable and compostable. 

Total fibre weight: 300g (10.5oz)

I do not collect tax. Any customs charges will have to be paid by you once your parcel has reached your country. I am not registered for VOEC in Norway - Head over to my etsy shop where you can pay your fees when you checkout.

I'm no longer sending orders to the EU. I'm so sorry.

All my orders are currently sent in brown Kraft paper mailers - UK and international. I also use cardboard boxes and I may also reuse old boxes for larger orders. Kraft paper mailers are splash proof but they probably won't survive being left out in the rain. From years of sending plastic mailers, I can tell you that not even plastic mailers can keep the water out. If you can, please have a safe place for your parcel to be left - I'd be happy to write a note for the postie on the mailer.

Currently, all my fibres are packaged in glassine paper bags.

Glassine paper is easily recyclable, and also compostable

If I run out of glassine bags or I've had a big order, I may need to pack the fibre in to a large plastic bag to make it easier to send as it helps pack the fibres in tightly.

YES! and it always has been.

My batts are made from commercially dyed 21-micron Merino sourced from South American flocks.

My 23-micron belnded top is from non-mulesed South African Merino flocks.
